CPMT Visits Teardown Specialists Munro & Associates

The Center for Powder Metallurgy Technology (CPMT) recently visited Munro & Associates, specialists working in aerospace, automotive, defense, marine, medical devices, and heavy industrial machinery. During the full-day event, CPMT members were provided the latest lean design approach for electric vehicles (EV), viewing 7 different disassembled EVs to study innovations and possible opportunities for powder metallurgy.

Munro prides itself on staying at the forefront of EV technology by continuously obtaining the most sought after electric vehicles and analyzing them using unique methodologies to pull superior data for reports that are industry leading and highly valued in the automotive market. The Munro Team has had a long and distinguished history in the automotive industry, having worked with most of the world’s OEMs and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. It was a great opportunity for the CPMT members to have a firsthand look at disassembled EVs, and bring back pictures to be shared with others at their company, possibly providing PM as a solution.
